Breeding Flowers for Hybrids Part 1

Hello again! YOU might not find this interesting, but I did, so if this is boring to you, deal. :)

This post is on Flower Breeding. I got the idea from Jaryd2006's FAQ on GameFAQs.com. Alright. Here we go.

Section One: Flower Care and Growth

Growth: Each day 3-5 flowers grow in different places in your town. One or two of them will be random flowers of the the three basic colours and the other ones will be hybrid flowers sprouted by two parent flowers. These hybrids will either be the same colour as one of the parent flowers or a new, different colour.

Caring: Every day you should walk around town and water all the wilted flowers. (Watering healthy flowers doesn't hurt either. It may keep them from wilting for a couple extra days) Wilted flowers are brown and, if not watered, will die within a couple days. Once you've watered all the wilted flowers, move the healthy flowers to a spot that will optimize breeding. (More on that later) Try to have not just one big garden, but smaller ones in different acres. That way you can bump up your Perfect Town status.

Section Two: Breeding Basics
This section provides the very basics of breeding flowers.

Here are the things that are required for a hybrid to appear.

  • The flowers must be the same breed (Pansy, Tulip, Rose, or Cosmo)

  • The flowers must be touching each other, whether it be horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

  • There must be a vacant spot adjacent to the parent flowers for the hybrid to appear in.

    To Be Continued!!! :)

Spice it Up

So I'm sitting here listening to music on blip.fm and thinking to myself, 'Does ACWW have to be so boring that I can't even bring myself to play it????" I answer myself, 'I have no idea!'

If anyone has any challenges or ideas on how to make this game more interesting PLEASE post them!!

Here are some of my ideas on "spicing things up":
  • Divide your town into acres (tedious, I know!)
  • Decorate your town with patterns
  • Arrange your room in a different theme
  • Arange your room according to Feng Shui
  • Complete your catalouge
  • Make a ton of money and pay off your rent

I haven't done any of this yet except for constantly rearranging my rooms!! (I only have 2)

Hope you have better luck than me!!!

Spring has Arrived

Spring is HERE!!! Actually Spring is only on my DS.....
In my front lawn there is still 6 feet of snow. Great, eh?
Anyways, I hope you are having a good time catching bugs and you have a lot less snow in you're front yard :P

On eBay there are the cutest ACWW Keychains ($0.01!! each) and purses (around $5.00)
I wish I could buy them, but I'm saving every last penny for Horse Camp this summer!

Animal Crossing City Folk (for Wii)

Hey all you city slickers!!
If you like shopping in the city then you will definitely like the latest Animal Crossing game!
In City Folk Wii, you start your life in a small town just like the one in Wild World. And yes, Tom Nook still asks you to do jobs! :P
When you hop on the bus, there's Kapp'n talking about whatever it is sailor-turned-bus-drivers talk about. In the City (The City apparently doesn't have a name) you can visit all the people who normally visit you in Wild World, Redd,Katrina,Lyle at the HRA, and Gracie of course! You can even get your shoes shined and get a Mii Mask!

I would rate this game 3 out of 5 stars... I definetly like Wild World better, but the people at the Animal Crossing Ahead Forums seem to like City Folk the best!

What do you think??
